Commission on Public BroadcastingPrint
In 2017, I was asked to design The People's Commission on Public Broadcasting – a report put together by ActionStation and a panel of media industry insiders that surveys the current state of public broadcasting in New Zealand.
I developed an abstract visual identity consisting of coloured bars running throughout the document which is reminiscent of both old TV SMPTE colour bars, as well as the pixels used in modern day televisions. A half-tone pattern was run through images, continuing the theme.
A mixture of serif and san serif fonts were used for contrast, appeal and comfortable reading.
